There are primarily 3 types of Creators on Emplifive, and it is important to identify your particular role when you are a creator.
Types of Creator:
Freelance Creator
Freelance Creators are creators that do not have any representative for them in their work. They offer their services and gigs independently and work directly with clients who engage them. They do not work with any Talent Agencies/Managers and are free to work with anyone as they deem fit.
Affiliate Creator
Affiliate Creator are creators that can work individually or can be represented by agencies. They are typically contracted with one or more Talent Agencies and get deals sourced through the Talent Agencies.
In the Emplifive platform, Affiliate Creators can be engaged directly without any representative, or engaged through any Agencies who have established Affiliate/Non-Exclusive Partnerships with them.
Exclusive Creator
Exclusive Creators are creators that are represented exclusively by their own agencies, meaning all dealflows and negotiations on Emplifive are to be liaised upon by their representative agencies. They are typically contracted with a specific Talent Agency as an Exclusive Talent.
Important Notes:
On Emplifive, we define the creators as these 3 main roles, and reflect the Partnerships between Creators and Agencies similarly to the real world.
However, the actual facilitation of Partnerships between Creators and Agencies, be it an Affiliate or Exclusive partnership, are usually done in the real-world and off the platform, and are legally bound.
We take no responsibility in helping Talent Agencies and Creators establish these Partnerships formally.
The onus is on the Talent Agencies and Creators to reflect the established real-world Partnerships on our platform, to be able to have the best experience in using the platform.
